What is CBT?

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a short term solution focused talking therapy that will provide you with skills and techniques to effectively manage and overcome problems such as stress, depression and anxiety disorders.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is recommended by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence as the first choice treatment for depression and a range of anxiety disorders including panic, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD) Social Phobia and others.

We offer a range of treatments that can be tailored to suit your specific needs.

Not all treatments are appropriate for everyone, so we recommend an inital assessment to discuss your needs and come up with a plan of action.

We offer a range of therapies, including CBT, metacognitive therapy and EMDR.

To find out more please go to our Treatments page.

We have accredited therapists who can provide CBT or EMDR clinical supervision on a regular, or one off basis. David WIlcox is an EMDR Consultant so is able to provide supervision that will contribute towards accreditation.

Our clinicians have extensive experience with providing clinical supervision for trainees and qualified therapists. They can provide supervision face to face, on the phone or via Skype.
